The iPhone 6 is indeed a big improvement compared to its predecessors and its sharing and communications features are a massive improvement. The device enables the users to make and receive calls at their desk and credits them with the best phone ever. The new mobile operating system from Apple, iOS 8.1.2 is also amazing and features lot of amazing features such as swipe to respond notifications, features on family sharing, it features the best health care apps etc.

But it features some annoying features and bugs that users wish to get rid of immediately.  Good news is that most of these features are mere default settings that are capable of getting reverted to the original iOS 7 version with not much effort.  For those who use iPod touch, MacBook, or an iPad that uses common Apple ID may get phone calls on these devices automatically. They are easy to get turned off and the user has to enter the settings menu of the individual gadget and hit at the Face Time icon. The next step is to turn off cellular calls to stop receiving calls from these gadgets.m

Double tapping the home button would pop up the pictures of upper row of friends and family pictures. This also offers easy access to reach the user’s favorites and the contacts they have visited recently. But some users would not like people snooping on when they are texting or calling. They go to the extent of downgrading their gadget to iOS 7 that has none of these circular pictures or could shut them off from the settings menu. Easy way to accomplish this is to hit at contacts – calendars –show in app switcher and then turn off the toggle.

The Photos application available in the iOS 8 version is now featured with recently deleted folder and stocks snapshots that users have chosen to delete for at least 30 days before they get deleted completely from the device. Though this is safe and helps people from deleting important photos accidently, it could sometimes be terrible to have a wrong photo on the device. Therefore once the user choses to delete a snapshot from their main folder, they should also delete it from recently deleted folder to be sure.

IMessage could be a lot of fun to send and receive audio messages but has a lot of drawbacks if the file size is big, they could get auto deleted from the device. This could be changed by saving the message indefinitely as a default option. To accomplish this enter settings – tap messages – tap settings. Then switch the video expiry time and audio messages expiry time to never.
